Dribbble now gives you more client insight directly into your inbox, helping you better understand the clients behind each lead and make more informed decisions about new opportunities.
These new badges are part of Dribbble’s ongoing work to reduce spam and give designers clearer signals about client intent.
Client Verification
The Verified Client badge means a client has completed two or more account verification steps that help build trust and credibility. When you see this badge, you can open the client details to learn which verification methods have been completed.
Clients may complete one or more of the following verification steps:
Email: The client’s email address has been verified through our email provider.
Phone: The client’s phone number has been verified through Twilio, a third-party verification provider.
Payment Method: The client has verified a payment method through Stripe.
Company Email: The client is using a custom domain email address that has been verified through a business directory.
Verification details are meant to provide added context when reviewing a new opportunity. Not every client will have verification details available, and this doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of the opportunity. As clients continue to use Dribbble, these details may be added or updated over time.
Promising Client Badge
The Promising Client badge highlights project opportunities that show strong signs of turning into a converted project. Dribbble looks at signals like the client’s account history, the quality of their request, how much information they’ve shared, and the project budget to determine when this badge appears. We only apply this badge to a limited number of projects with stronger signs that the client is ready to hire.
⭐ Leads featuring a Promising Client badge are 3–10x more likely to convert into paid projects.
Returning Client Badge
The Returning Client badge identifies clients with a history of hiring on Dribbble. Since they’ve hired before, returning clients are more familiar with the hiring process and more likely to start another project. When available, you may also see additional client history, such as Hires, Spend, and Ratings.
A Returning Client badge does not mean the client has hired you personally before. It means they have previously hired through Dribbble.
Basic Account Verification
Newer clients may only have basic account details available, such as location, join date, and email verification. These details can still provide helpful context when reviewing a new opportunity, and more information may become available as the client continues using Dribbble.
