Dribbble now offers three Pro tiers—Lite, Standard, and Plus—designed to give you more flexibility and access to the tools that best support your creative work. Along with this new structure, we’ve introduced several new features and improvements across all tiers. This FAQ will help you understand what’s included in each plan and what you need to know about the updated Pro experience.
Understanding the Pro Plans & Tiers
How do I know whether Pro Lite, Standard, or Plus is right for me?
Dribbble Pro is available in three tiers designed to support different stages of your creative career. Each tier includes a different level of visibility and access to client-matching tools. If you’re not sure where to start, you can compare all features and pricing on the Dribbble Pro page.
Pro Lite is best for designers who want to refresh or promote their portfolio with a visibility boost. This tier increases how often your work appears across Dribbble so more people can discover it.
Pro Standard is designed for freelancers and individual designers who are actively taking on client work. In addition to increased visibility, Standard includes access to client-matching features such as InstantMatch, Designer Recommendations, and eligibility for applying to Project Briefs.
Pro Plus is built for established designers, high-volume freelancers, and agencies looking for maximum exposure and ongoing lead flow. Plus includes the highest visibility boost, expanded access to client-matching tools, additional Brief credits, and benefits that support teams and collaborators.
If your needs change, you can upgrade or change your plan at any time.
Why does Dribbble offer three different Pro plans?
Dribbble’s community includes designers, freelancers, and teams at many different stages of their careers, and each group has different needs. A single Pro plan can’t support every use case, so the current tiers—Lite, Standard, and Plus—provide options for designers who want visibility, designers looking for consistent client opportunities, and established creatives or teams who need higher-volume support.
Each tier includes a different level of visibility, discovery benefits, and access to client-matching tools, so you can choose the plan that aligns with your goals. You can review a full comparison of features and pricing on the Dribbble Pro page.
I’ve been a Pro member for years — why should I upgrade to Pro Plus?
We created Pro Plus to grow with you. If you’ve been using Pro for years and your work volume or client needs have increased, Plus includes expanded tools and benefits designed to support a thriving, higher-capacity creative business:
Stronger visibility boost across feeds and search
10× the Project Brief credits, giving you more opportunities you can apply to each month
No platform fees on Dribbble Projects — Pro Plus waives both designer and client fees
Larger team support, with more seats included for agencies and collaborative teams
VIP Support — priority access to our dedicated customer support team.
Pro Plus is designed to support this next stage of your business.
🏆 If you're on Pro Plus, clients will see an indicator in project threads and proposals letting them know that hiring you through Dribbble comes with no platform fees.
How do the new Pro tiers compare to the previous Pro plan?
Dribbble Pro is now offered in three tiers—Lite, Standard, and Plus—so designers at different stages can choose the level of visibility, features, and client-matching tools that best fit their needs. The previous Pro plan is now called Pro Standard, and it includes everything the old Pro plan offered, plus additional benefits like Project Brief credits, a stronger visibility boost, and more improvements coming soon. The price remains the same.
Visibility & Exposure
Will Pro give my profile more visibility and help my work get more exposure?
Yes. All Pro tiers include a visibility boost that increases how often your profile and shots appear across Dribbble, including in feeds, Shot Search, Service Search, and Designer Search. The strength of this boost depends on your plan, with higher tiers receiving increased exposure. A visibility boost does not guarantee a specific ranking, but it helps your shots surface more often so more people have the opportunity to discover them.
How do visibility boosts differ between Pro Lite, Standard, and Plus?
Each Pro tier includes a different level of visibility boost, which affects how often your shots and profile appear in feeds and search results across Dribbble. Higher tiers receive stronger boosts, which increases the frequency with which your work is shown to potential clients and other designers.
Visibility boosts work alongside Dribbble’s existing ranking and relevance systems. They do not override those systems or guarantee specific placements, but they can expand your reach by helping your work appear more often within the range it already performs.
You can monitor changes in profile and shot activity on your Pro Analytics page.
I’m not seeing increased views yet — how long does it take for visibility boosts to take effect?
Visibility boosts begin as soon as your Pro subscription is active, but it can take time before you see noticeable changes in views. Dribbble surfaces work based on relevance, shot performance, and how well your content aligns with what people are searching for or engaging with. As your work is re-indexed and shown in more places, increases in views typically happen gradually rather than immediately.
If your profile is new or you haven’t published many shots yet, it may take longer for your visibility to build. Pro helps accelerate this process by increasing how often your work appears across Dribbble, but a boost does not mean that your shots will suddenly receive double the views overnight. Results improve over time as you publish more work and as people start interacting with your portfolio.

Turning Visibility Into Leads & ROI
How does Pro help turn visibility into real client leads?
Pro Standard and Pro Plus include tools designed to help convert increased visibility into real client opportunities. When you’re on Standard or Plus, your profile becomes eligible for Dribbble’s hiring and matching features, which connect you with clients who are actively looking for designers with your skills.
On these tiers, your profile may appear in:
InstantMatch results when your skills, services, or experience align with a client's project
Designer Recommendations, which highlight designers who are a good fit for active hiring needs
Client searches that specifically filter for Pro designers
Pro Standard and Pro Plus also unlock Project Briefs, where you can apply directly to curated opportunities submitted by clients hiring through Dribbble.
Together, these features give your profile more ways to be discovered by clients and increase your chances of receiving real project opportunities.
What’s the ROI of Pro — can it really pay for itself?
Pro Standard and Pro Plus are designed to help you land client work more efficiently by increasing your visibility and giving you access to tools that connect you directly with clients who are hiring. Many designers find that a single project covers the cost of their subscription, especially on tiers that remove platform fees. While results vary depending on the work you publish and the types of clients you attract, these plans are built to help active designers earn back their investment quickly through new opportunities on Dribbble.
Do clients know which tier of Pro I have?
Clients don’t see which Pro tier you’re on. When they browse Dribbble, they’ll simply see that you’re a Pro designer, which keeps things simple and straightforward for clients.
If you’re on Pro Plus, clients will see an indicator in project threads and proposals letting them know that hiring you through Dribbble comes with no platform fees. This helps clarify the cost of working together. In the future, we may surface plan-specific details in other places when it’s useful for clients making hiring decisions.
Teams, Agencies, and Shared Profiles
Is Dribbble Pro built for agencies and teams?
Yes. Both Pro Standard and Pro Plus support teams and agencies through access to a shared Team profile. Team profiles allow you to invite collaborators, publish work together, and appear in search filters that help clients find agencies and multi-designer teams.
Pro Standard includes a smaller number of seats suitable for small teams or studios, while Pro Plus expands team capacity with additional seats and a higher visibility boost. Plus also includes more Project Brief credits, which can help teams pursue more opportunities each month.
If you’re setting up or managing a team, you may also want to review:
If I’m part of a Team, do I still need my own Pro subscription?
Yes, in most cases you’ll still need your own Pro subscription. Here’s how Pro access works for Team accounts:
Original Team Owner (or oldest remaining owner): This owner receives a Pro profile as part of the Team subscription. They get waived designer fees, InstantMatch, Designer Recommendations, and a ranking/visibility boost on their personal profile. They do not receive features like Project Brief credits. If the Team is on Pro Plus, this owner receives Standard-level benefits on their personal profile, not Plus-level benefits.
All other Team Owners: These owners receive Pro features only when acting on behalf of the Team, such as publishing Team shots or managing the Team profile. Their personal profiles do not receive Pro benefits unless they purchase their own subscription.
Team Members: Team members do not receive any Pro features on their personal profile unless they purchase their own subscription.
Billing, Payments, and Plan Changes
Can I cancel my subscription or switch plans after I purchase?
Yes. You can cancel your Pro subscription or change plans at any time. When you update your plan, Dribbble will show you any prorated charges or credits before you confirm the change. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
What happens when I upgrade or downgrade my Pro plan?
When you upgrade or downgrade your Pro plan, Dribbble will show you any prorated charges or credits before you confirm the change. Some updates take effect immediately, while others may take effect at your next renewal, depending on the change you’re making. The checkout flow outlines how your billing and access will update.
If my payment fails, do I immediately lose Pro features?
No. If a payment fails, Dribbble will automatically retry it. You won’t immediately lose access to your Pro features while those retries are in progress. If the payment continues to fail after multiple attempts, your subscription may lapse, and Pro features will be removed until the payment issue is resolved.
If you’re running into issues completing a payment, see I’m getting an error during checkout — can you help?
I’m having trouble paying — what should I do?

Status, Badges, and Troubleshooting
My Pro badge isn’t appearing on my profile — what does that mean?
Your Pro badge depends on which plan you have and whether your subscription is active.
Pro Lite does not include a public Pro badge
Pro Standard and Pro Plus include a badge. If it isn’t showing, your subscription may not be active or your most recent payment may have failed.
If you believe your badge should be showing, first confirm that your subscription is current. If everything appears active and the badge is still missing, please contact support for assistance.
How can I check which Pro plan I’m currently on?
You can confirm which Pro plan you’re on by visiting your Billing page. Your active plan (Lite, Standard, or Plus) will be listed there along with your renewal date and billing details.
If you’re part of a Team, this page will also include a link to your Team’s billing page so you can easily review or manage the Team’s subscription. Team subscriptions do not automatically apply to your personal profile unless you’re the original Team Owner.
If anything looks incorrect, you can update your subscription or contact support for help.
