Getting paid on Dribbble is designed to be stress-free. With upfront payment, secure fund holding, and reliable payout partners, you can focus on your work—knowing your earnings are taken care of.
How do I get paid on Dribbble?
Dribbble offers two payout options—Payoneer and Stripe Bank Transfers—which support many countries and currencies around the world. You’ll receive your funds through the payout method you’ve selected in your account settings.
To get started, make sure you’ve set up your payment method.
When do I get paid?
Clients pay upfront for either the entire project or one milestone at a time. Once a milestone is funded, Dribbble holds the payment securely until you complete that phase of work.
When you’re ready, you’ll submit work through your project dashboard. This signals to the client that the work is ready for review - and that the payment can be released.
Can I get paid upfront?
Yes. Dribbble supports kickoff payments, which are optional upfront milestones you can include in your proposal. These are typically released when work officially begins.

What happens if the client doesn’t release payment?
If a client doesn’t respond after you submit a milestone, don’t worry. Dribbble’s system includes a 7-day review window—if the client takes no action within that period, the funds will be released to you automatically.
If there’s an issue and the client is refusing to release payment unfairly, our Support Team will be there to help.
Do you offer payout invoices?
Yes. Dribbble provides compliant payout invoices for all transactions. These are accessible in your account and can be used for tax and financial reporting.
