What are Designer Recommendations?
Designer Recommendations are a simple way for clients to connect with more designers, quickly.
When a client sends a Project Request to any designer on Dribbble, they’ll immediately see an option to send that same request to three more designers who are also a great fit for their needs.
Only Pro designers are included in these recommendations because they have consistently shown that they deliver high-quality work and excellent experiences for clients.
Who will see these recommendations?
Every client who sends a Project Request will now get Designer Recommendations.
How do you select which designers to recommend?
We review the client’s Project Request and match them with Pro designers who fit the skills and budget outlined in the request, and who have a strong track record of working successfully with clients on Dribbble, including:
High response rates and fast reply times
Sending project proposals
Completed projects
Low cancellation rates
Excellent client reviews
This helps us make strong matches that lead to better results for everyone involved.
How can I be featured more often?
If you’re regularly engaging with clients, delivering great work, and showing up on Dribbble, you’re much more likely to be featured. We look at signals like how quickly you reply to new leads, whether you’re sending project proposals and closing work through Dribbble, and how happy your clients are.
The more signs we see that you’re actively working with clients and creating positive experiences, the more likely it is we’ll recommend you.
Does being active on Dribbble help me get recommended?
Definitely, posting new shots and keeping your profile fresh shows us (and potential clients) that you’re available and actively working. That makes it more likely you'll be featured in recommendations.
Will I know when I've been recommended?
Not right now. While you can’t see specifically when your profile has been recommended, you should notice a boost in your visibility and an increase in high-quality leads in your inbox.
Why are other designers recommended when a client contacts me?
This feature is available to every client, no matter who they reach out to first. After they send their initial request, we make it easy for them to also connect with three more designers who match their needs. If you’re active and consistently doing great work, this creates more opportunity for you, not less.
