What is Shot Review?
All shots published on Dribbble are reviewed by our human moderation team to ensure they follow our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Shot Guidelines. Both the image and the description are manually checked to maintain the quality and integrity of the platform.
If Your Shot is Approved
If your shot is approved right away, it will go live on Dribbble and appear in search results and feeds. You will not receive an email if your shot is approved immediately.
If Your Shot is Not Approved
If a shot doesn't meet our guidelines, you’ll receive an email from our moderation team explaining why it wasn’t approved. During this time, the shot will be hidden from search and feed placements until it's updated.
Resubmitting a Shot for Approval
To resubmit a rejected shot, simply edit it. Once updated, the shot is automatically sent back to our moderation team for review—no need to contact support or take any additional steps. We prioritize shots that have been edited and resubmitted to reduce the time they remain hidden.
If the shot passes review after being updated, it will be re-approved and you’ll receive an email notification.
Once approved, your shot will re-enter search and feed placements as if it were newly posted - its time spent not discoverable will not affect future visibility.
If your shot is rejected again and you're unsure why, please reach out to our team. We're here to help clarify the issue and support you through any necessary updates.
