Formatting Shot Descriptions

Updated over 3 months ago

Shot descriptions are a great way to tell the community what went into the work you’re uploading. Our shot descriptions offer limited keyboard support as well as limited markdown formatting, allowing you to easily style your text while typing.

For instance, if you’d like bold or italicized text, simply hit Command (or Control) + B to bold or Command + I to italicize. If you’d like to add a link to your description, simply highlight the text and add your URL into the popup.

Additionally, if you’re familiar with markdown syntax for unordered lists (- list item), bold (**bold**), and italic (*italic*), the description editor also offers limited support for it.

Formatting Options

  • Bold
CMD+b, CTRL+b, or **your text here**

  • Italic
CMD+I, CTRL+I, or *your text here*

  • Link
Highlight text you would like linked and enter your URL. Click the checkmark to confirm.

  • Removing a link
Highlight the linked text and click the `x` to remove the associated URL
